ConnCAN would like to thank the following individuals and organizations for their help in developing this database:

Each of the public school districts for their cooperation in providing this information and sending us their contracts. Although contracts are subject to Connecticut’s public disclosure laws, nearly every district courteously and promptly sent their contracts without such a request required.

Sulzer, Inc. for their website design and development support on the new version of this database, including expanded website functionality.

Daniel C. Wiggins Design for graphic design support on the analysis and introductory documents included in this database.

Thomas Mooney, partner and co-chair of the School Law Practice Group of the law firm of Shipman and Goodwin, adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law, and author of A Practical Guide to Connecticut School Law (8th ed. 2014), for his guidance on collective bargaining law and feedback on the database.

William Connon, chair of the School Law section at the law firm of Pullman and Comley and management attorney on the State Department of Education's Interest Arbitration Panel representing local and regional boards of education, for his guidance on collective bargaining law and feedback on the database.

Kency Nittler, Manager of Teacher Trends for the National Council on Teacher Quality and leader of the NCTQ Teacher Contract Database (which inspired ConnCAN to undertake this work) for her assistance in providing feedback on the database.

Allison Giroux, Senior Fellow of Research and Policy for ConnCAN, for her efforts in reviewing and coding contracts.

ConnCAN would also like to thank the numerous professionals from public school districts, institutes of higher education, and other education organizations who provided feedback on the database content, methodology, and website throughout the project’s four year history.
